Fall season approaches
Aug 2008
So far, 3 RCFC teams are registered for the fall season:
- Men's Open team playing division 1
- Men's 30+ playing Masters division
- Men's 40+ playing Veteran's division
All players are due to pay their fees now.
Summer draws near
Aug 2008
We had 3 teams playing in CVSA summer league -
- division 1 placed 4th and lost in the playoff semi-final.
- division 4 team placed 6th and lost in playoff quarter-finals.
- Coed team placed 5th and is currently in playoffs
Coed team will play the Neptune tournament (9-10 Aug, VA Beach).
How the spring season ended
May 2008
- 1st division - narrowly lost out on winning the divion. A tie in the last game meant they finished runners-up for the 3rd time in the last few seasons.
- Masters had a good run in the Copa Bruce cup losing 2-1 in the semi-finals. In the league, they placed mid-table.
- 40+ team finished mid-table.
- Coed team were runners-up in their 2nd season.
